Jordan Tremblay
Massage therapist
My name is Jordan, a massage therapist specializing in Ayurvedic treatments and Swedish massage.
Ayurveda entered my life at a time marked by illness and difficult challenges. This ancient medicine has allowed me to make sense of ailments that go beyond the body, while meeting fundamental needs. It invites us to reconnect with ourselves and realize that we already have within us everything we need to live a more harmonious life. This is what pushed me to delve deeper into the study of this fascinating science in order to benefit as many people as possible.
My sensitivity, my empathy and my desire to help people regain their strength and autonomy make me an attentive and attentive therapist, ready to support you on your journey.
Still in training to add Ayurvedic naturopathy and physiotherapy to my practice, I currently offer Swedish massage as well as Abhyanga treatment.
My vision of massage and therapeutic touch is based on the idea that it constitutes an essential human need. It regulates stress, supports immunity, and nourishes our emotional balance. A secure contact releases oxytocin, the hormone of connection and trust, promoting relaxation and well-being. This is why I consider massage therapy an essential treatment: it reconnects with the body, soothes the mind, and offers a space of presence that we all deeply need. In a world where touch is often lacking, offering this space of presence and contact is, in my eyes, essential to well-being.
Abhyanga is an Ayurvedic massage using warm oil infused with medicinal plants. Enveloping and rhythmic, it soothes the nervous system, deeply nourishes the tissues, and encourages you to slow down, release tension, and regain inner balance. Each treatment is tailored to your current state, using an oil chosen especially for you.
Concretely, Abhyanga allows:
deep relaxation of body and mind;
reduced stress, anxiety and insomnia;
relief from muscle tension;
to nourish the tissues;
improved blood circulation, lymphatic circulation and vital energy;
a moment to reconnect with yourself.
My practice is inclusive. My relaxation and treatment space is open to everyone, including the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. Everyone is welcome, regardless of their age, identity, background, or experience with massage. Please feel free to write to me if you have any questions.
I want my care to be accessible to as many people as possible. If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss it.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Sauge Clinic!
